The free baggage allowances apply to all fare types and travel class. However, every travel class has its own set of free baggage allowances. Moreover, extra baggage allowances are offered to the passengers having the membership of Emirates Skywards Platinum, Gold, and Silver. Carry on Baggage allowance
The carry-on baggage allowances are determined by the travel class of the passengers. As of 2018 statistics, Emirates is featuring three travel classes that include Economy, Business and First Class.
Carry on baggage allowance for Economy class passengers states that one is allowed to carry one piece of baggage weighing not more than 15lbs and the dimension must not exceed 22 x 15 x 8 inches. However, the passengers boarding from Brazil are entitled to take baggage up to 22lbs weight on-board.
Whereas, business and travel class passengers are allowed to take two pieces of carry-on baggage on-board that must strictly include one briefcase and either one handbag or one garment bag. The dimension of the baggage and the handbag must not exceed (18 x 14 x 8) inches and (22 x 15 x 8) inches respectively. Whereas; weight must not exceed 15lbs.
Note: The passengers boarding from Brazil are permitted to take baggage with the weight limit of 22lbs each.
Checked Baggage Allowance
